During the summer opening, between 50 and 60 teen boys and girls had their own retreat with the support of monastics and lay brothers and sisters. The boys camped in Son Ha, the girls in New Hamlet, but together they cooked, played and had lots of fun. Besides they learned some stuff about how to sit still and concentrate and live a healthier lifestyle, being together in harmony.
Our brother Jeroen from Holland has created a video with pictures from the "One Buddha Is Not Enough" - Wake Up Retreat at the EIAB last April to share our joy and happiness with all of you. Enjoooy!

Here are two very cool little films about how Wake Up is manifesting in Austin Texas. Beautiful. May Wake Up houses bloom all around the world! (click on 'read more' to see the second film)
Wake Up Autumn Retreat European Institute of Applied Buddhism 6-10 October 2010
All you need is True Love, Brother. All you need is True Love, Sister.
Let`s wake up to True Love. We are rich men. Let`s return home to accept and share our treasures.
The treasure of joy. The treasure of loving-kindness. The treasure of compassion. The treasure of inclusiveness.
Each day of this Wake Up Retreat will be an opportunity for us to discover one of these treasures - while breathing, lying, sitting, walking, eating, playing. Together with young EIAB monastics and Wake-Uppers from all over Europe we will plant our "True Love Tree" (s. Wake Up Tree Foundation).
With True Love, with brotherhood and sisterhood there is nothing we can do that can`t be done!
